PROJECT NAME: WorkAsPro Talent Web3 Career Platform

PROJECT HISTORY

WorkAsPro was initially a freelancing platform where buyers would use MetaMask wallets and the Ethereum or Polygon blockchain to post jobs and make payments in crypto. However, the biggest issue was that most freelancers lived hand to mouth and were unwilling to receive payments in crypto. For them, platforms like Fiverr and Upwork were far more practical.

In addition to that, the platform was full of bugs from a development standpoint, overly complicated, and even Google wasn’t indexing it properly.

Considering all these challenges, the entire responsibility fell on Mujeeb UR Rehman. After conducting in-depth research, he proposed transforming WorkAsPro from a freelancer platform into WorkAsPro Talent — a Web3 career platform. The proposal was approved, and now WorkAsPro Talent is going from zero to hero.

PROJECT INTRODUCTION

WorkAsPro is the largest platform for finding and posting jobs in Web3, cryptocurrency, and blockchain companies. Since its launch in 2024, it has become the go-to hiring hub for over 3,000 leading organizations, including Ethereum Foundation, ConsenSys, MetaMask, OKEx, Huobi, Parity Technologies, Argent Wallet, Status.im, PayPal, GameStop, and many more.

Purpose, Mission, and Targeted Audiences:

Purpose

WorkAsPro’s purpose is to provide a dedicated Web3 career platform where blockchain and crypto companies can post jobs and connect directly with top Web3 talent. At the same time, Web3 professionals can discover opportunities, apply for roles, and build strong relationships with hiring companies across the industry.

Mission

WorkAsPro’s mission is to bridge the gap between Web3 companies and skilled talent by creating a seamless, trusted, and decentralized hiring ecosystem. They aim to empower the next generation of blockchain professionals and help companies scale faster with the right talent.

MUJEEB’S RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mujeeb, keeping the future of Web3 and blockchain technology in mind, chose to start his career in the Web3 space. In this project, he took on the following responsibilities:

  1. Conducted in-depth research for the WorkAsPro Talent whitepaper, roadmaps, and new features, and wrote and reviewed technical documentation.
  2. Maintained close coordination with the development team, assigned tasks to both development and marketing teams, and monitored progress and task sheets according to the project roadmap.
  3. Managed and oversaw all social media accounts of WorkAsPro to build and maintain a strong online presence.
  4. Handled and reviewed all technical aspects of the project, including SEO (on-page, off-page, and technical SEO), page indexing, and other related issues.
  5. Shared updates and progress regarding development and marketing with the Telegram and Twitter communities, and responded to community questions about the project and the token.
  6. Reached out to crypto influencers for AMA sessions on social platforms and conducted email marketing using various CRMs.
  7. Ran Meta Ads and Google Ads for the project, fully aligned with Google’s terms and conditions for Web3 and crypto-related campaigns.

Challenges & Solutions

  • While researching new projects, I created a detailed plan before we officially started. I clearly instructed both the development and marketing teams that all work would follow SEO best practices. Initially, over 4,000 pages were not indexed. However, through a successful and focused strategy, we significantly reduced the number of unindexed pages. So far, Google has successfully indexed over 2,000 pages, and the count continues to improve daily.
  • The community was under pressure and demanded the project go live quickly. Despite the tight timeline, we successfully launched within one month, with verified and authentic data. Our marketing engagement strategy and development planning played a major role in making this fast launch a success.
  • While designing the 2025 roadmap, I realized the need for a crypto calculator to help users calculate their crypto assets. Additionally, I proposed a feature that allows Web3 talent to create CVs using a smart platform. This is a major module, and it will be going live very soon.
